Robert P. Burozski, 92, of Toms River, NJ, passed away Saturday, October 14th, 2023. Born in Newark, NJ, he lived in Hazlet and Middletown before moving to Toms River in 2015. He was a veteran of the US Navy and the US Army, having served during the Korean War. Robert is legendary in the company that he worked for. He became a nationally known sales director for Saladmaster, in charge of the Division of NJ. Through sales incentives, he won several trips around the world for him and his wife. Robert loved family, friends and playing chess. Although much of his life was affected by serious illness, he found renewed joy and purpose telling daily jokes and singing love songs to whoever would listen, praying for those in need and playing chess and poker at the Hampton Ridge Healthcare nursing home. He was like a goodwill ambassador. His smile was infectious. He had a heart of gold toward everyone. In a final act of generosity, he gave his body for medical research. He was an inspiration and will be missed by many. Sharing one last joke for Robert: Boy says to father: Did you get a haircut? Father says, No, I got all my hairs cut!
Robert was predeceased by the love of his life, Beverly. He is survived by his two sons, Robert (Linda Olson) and Paul, two daughters, Michelle (Larry) Dillon and Nancy (Ken) Kondracki, and three grandchildren, Larissa, Brandt, and Allison.
Military Honors will be held at the Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Cemetery. Condolences and memories may be sent to the family by visiting www.ryanfuneralhome.com.
