Robert W. Hills, 63, of Toms River, passed from this life suddenly on Tuesday, March 4, 2025. Bobby was born on July 24, 1961, in Plainfield, New Jersey, to the late John and Geraldine (Balt) Hills. After graduating from Piscataway High School, he went on to become an exceptional plumber and worked in that trade throughout the state. Bobby married the love of his life (Rosalie) in 2006, and eventually relocated to Toms River.
Bobby will always be known for his big heart and devotion to family. He enjoyed the company of people around him, and will be remembered for his great sense of humor. He will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him.
Bob is survived by his wife of eighteen years, Rosalie (Nocera) Hills. He also leaves four brothers and one sister: Ronnie (wife Connie) of MA; Richie (wife Cindy) of Millstone, NJ; Gary (wife Liz) of Jackson, NJ; Ray of Piscataway, NJ; and Patty Grazioso also of Piscataway. He also leaves a beloved uncle, Bobby Balt (wife Lynn) of Bayville, NJ, and many nieces, nephews and their families. They all enjoyed being with their fun-loving Uncle Bobby. Lastly, and most importantly, Bobby leaves his two beloved “fur babies”, Willow and Layla.
The family will receive relatives and friends on Sunday, March 9th, 2025, from 1 pm to 5 pm at Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals, 995 Fischer Blvd., Toms River. All Committal Services will be held privately.
