Robert Scott Malone

Robert Scott Malone, 63, of Lanoka Harbor, Lacey Twp., NJ, passed away Wednesday, September 3, 2025. Born in Neptune, NJ, he lived in Toms River for 20 years before moving to Lanoka Harbor over a year ago.

Robert worked at Irv's Deli in Neptune & Frank's Deli in Asbury Park for many years before moving to Ocean County Parks and Recreation. He worked as a Heavy Equipment Operator for 28 years before retiring in July. 

He served as a Volunteer Firefighter for the East Dover Fire Department for 13 years.

Robert was predeceased by his parents Edward and Joan Malone. He is survived by his wife of 40 years Tracy Malone, his four daughters Jennifer Malone Bergen (Derk Oldenhof III) of Lutz, FL, Felicia Malone (Peter Dorak) of Apollo, PA, Victoria Malone (Donald Huffenus, Jr.) of Toms River, NJ, Samantha Malone (James Gorman Jr.) of Toms River, NJ, three brothers Michael Malone of Pensacola, FL, John Malone of Toms River, Edward Malone of Toms River, and eight grandchildren; Isabella Malone, Tyler Dorak, Ryker Dorak, Derk Oldenhof IV, Donald Huffenus-Malone III, Olivia Gorman-Malone, Sebastian Huffenus-Malone, and Darren Gorman-Malone.

A memorial gathering will be offered Tuesday, September 9, 2025 4:00pm – 8:00pm with a funeral service to be offered at 6:30pm at the Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals, 995 Fischer Blvd., Toms River.
