Robert Rubin, 81 of Toms River, passed from this life on Friday, March 6, 2026. Robert was born January 11, 1945 in Brooklyn, New York to the late Sam Rubin and Beatrice Chait. He was a loving husband, devoted father and grandfather. He served his country honorably in the United States Army. He loved animals, especially dogs and cats. He had a great love of Science Fiction shows like Dr. Who and Star Trek. He also loved watching the New York Yankees. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Robert is survived by his wife, Deborah Zagyi Rubin; son, Scott Rubin and his wife Christine; daughter, Jennifer Portney; brothers, Frank Rubin and his wife Miriam; Andrew Rubin; grandchildren, Brianna Portney and Alexa Portney
