Roger Van Ness

Roger Van Ness, 64, of Carefree section of Berkeley Twsp., NJ died on Tuesday May 11, 2021 at his home. Roger was born in Paterson, NJ and lived in Haledon and Hawthorne, NJ before moving to Berkeley Twsp., NJ 8 years ago. He was the Owner/Operator of Van Ness Motor Freight in Hawthorne, NJ for 30 years and worked for Toms River Board of Education as a Bus Driver.

Roger is predeceased by his parents Raymond and Marion Van Ness.

Surviving is his wife Ruth Van Ness of Berkeley Twsp., NJ; his children Kenny Van Ness of North Haledon, NJ and Sherry Villadiego of Valrico, FL and his Grandchildren Leah, Emma, Kara and Jaxon.

Family will receive friends on Sunday May 16, 2021 for a Memorial Gathering from 1-4pm at the Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals 145 St. Catherine Blvd. Toms River, NJ. Committal will be private.
