Ronald C. Thorpe

Ronald C. Thorpe, 77, of Toms River, NJ, passed away on Tuesday, May 11, 2021.

Born in Newark, NJ, he lived in Lodi, NJ, before moving to Toms River 12 years ago.

He “Pop-Pop” was a warm, gentle loving, hardworking man who will be so very missed.  He was a Fabricator for Clifton Glass in Clifton, NJ. Prior to retiring.  

Ronald was huge Dallas Cowboys fan.

He is preceded in death by his beloved wife Marian, his parents Frederick and Marion (Dassing) Thorpe, brother Bradford Thorpe, and sister Louise Florio.

Ronald is survived by his children Audrey and her husband James Flynn of Pompton Lakes, NJ, and James and his wife Donna Thorpe of Clifton, NJ, four grandchildren: Katelynn Thorpe and her fiance Hector Ortiz, Kyle Flynn, Karley Flynn, and Kevin Thorpe as well as his niece Nikki Murano and nephew Anthony Florio.  

The family will receive relatives and friends for a Memorial Gathering at the Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals, 145 St Catherine Blvd., Toms River, NJ on Monday, May 17, 2021 from 5 to 7pm. A Funeral Service will be celebrated at 6pm at the funeral home.
