RONALD L. WILSON, 87 of Indian Creek, IL and Toms River, NJ passed away on Sunday, February 21, 2021. Born in Sacramento, CA, he lived in Illinois and spent summers in Toms River for the past 3 years. He was a US Army Veteran and proudly and honorably served in the 82nd Airborne during the Korean war. Ron worked at Argonne National Laboratory in Illinois in the Electronic Communications Department. After retiring from Argonne, he started a second career working as an Administrator at the College of DuPage in Naperville, IL. His true passion was aviation spending weekends at Naper Aero and flying his Cherokee 235. In addition, he was a member of the American Legion in Toms River. Ron was predeceased by his loving wife Melania (Liptak). He is survived by his daughters, Wanda Wilson of Indian Creek, IL, Diana Wilson-Bell of Toms River, NJ and Dawn Wilson of Batavia, IL. He also enjoyed doting on his six grandchildren, namely Kyle, Alexandra, Jaclyn, Eric, Jason and Michael. Family and friends are invited to attend the viewing for Ron on Saturday, February 27th, 2021 from 3 – 6 p.m. at the Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals, 145 St. Catherine Blvd., Toms River, NJ.
