Rose Marie Monti, 85, of Berkeley Twp., NJ passed away Wednesday, September 21, 2022.
Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, she lived in Long Island, NY before moving to Berkeley Twp. in January 1996.
Rose Marie worked in Retail for many years at A&S in Lake Grove, NY. After she retired, she was very involved with her community as an active member of the Italian-American Heritage Club leading their members and giving back to her community and awarding scholarships. She also enjoyed performing every year on various musicals and plays where she was able to sing and dance. She also did volunteer work during many elections.
She was a parishioner of St. Maximilian Kolbe RC Church, Berkeley Twp., NJ.
Rose Marie was predeceased by her husband Vincent in 2012 and her granddaughter Mia in 2008.
She is survived by her four children Doreen Monti Katz of Coram, NY, Vincent Monti III of Toms River, NJ, Christopher Monti and his wife Gahvar of Dumont, NJ and Nicholas Monti and his wife Paulina of Bridgewater, NJ, two sisters Camilla and Diane, six grandchildren Vincent, Christopher, Andrew, Aaron, Emily and Dario Ramiz, and a great grandson Max.
The family will receive relatives and friends on Monday, September, 26, 2022 4:00pm – 8:00pm at the Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals, 145 St. Catherine Blvd., Toms River. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered Tuesday, September 27, 2022 10:00am at St. Maximilian Kolbe RC Church, Berkeley Twp. Burial to follow at the New Jersey Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Wrightstown, NJ.
