Sallie (Giannella) Luchese

Sallie Luchese (nee Giannella), 78, of Holiday City South, Berkeley Twp., NJ, passed away Thursday, May 27, 2021.

Born and raised in Paterson, NJ, she graduated from St. John’s High School, Paterson, NJ.  She later lived in Bloomingdale, NJ for 35 years and Toms River, NJ for 5 years before moving to Berkeley Twp. in 2005.

Sallie was a Legal Secretary for Judge Michael Diamond in Paterson, NJ for many years.

She was a parishioner of St. Maximilian Kolbe RC Church, Berkeley Twp.

Sallie was predeceased by her sister, Katherine Giannella.

She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Philip Luchese, her three children and their spouses, Julie and Bobby Greger of Manchester, NJ, Jackie and Jason Fiske of Flemington, NJ, Anthony and Agnes Luchese of Glen Rock, NJ, a sister Kathy Johann of Bermuda, and six grandchildren Jackie, Gianna, Molly, Max, Matthew and Daniel.

A memorial gathering will be offered Saturday, June 5, 2021 1:00pm-5:00pm with a funeral service to be offered at 4:00pm at the Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals, 145 St. Catherine Blvd., Toms River.
