Salvatore "Sam" Giampietro Obituary

Salvatore “Sam” W. Giampietro, 80, of Lavallette, NJ passed away on Saturday, December 26, 2020. Born in Birdsboro, PA, he lived in North Brunswick, NJ before moving to Lavallette 20 years ago. Sam proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corp. before establishing a career as a Sergeant at Arms for Middlesex County Superior Court. Sam embodied the spirit of family building lasting relationships for generations to come. He is preceded in death by his parents Gaetano and Filomena (Losa) Giampietro, as well as his brothers; Charles and Nicholas. Sam is survived by his loving wife of 57 years Patricia, his sons; Christopher and his wife Eileen of Monroe, NJ, and Joseph and his wife Elizabeth of Lavallette, NJ, his brother Francis, and three grandchildren; Conor, Kate, and Dennis. Sam adored his grandchildren and spent his later years attending all of their various activities. He will always be remembered for the love he had for spending time with his family and friends. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, December 31, 2020 at 11am at St Junipero Serra of the parish of St Catherine of Siena RC Church, 50 E St, Seaside Park, NJ 08752.
