Sarah C. (Campbell) Burns

Sarah C. Burns, 81, of Toms River, NJ, passed away on Saturday, April 24, 2021. Born in Union, SC, she lived in Eatontown, NJ before moving to Toms River in 1984. Sarah was a Homemaker and a loving Wife, Mother, and Mema. She was previously involved with Ladies of the Toms River Elks Club #1875 and the Seaside Heights Chapter of Deborah. 

She is preceded in death by her son James Gregory Burns, her parents Henry and Sallie Campbell, and her brother Frankie Campbell.

She is survived by her beloved husband Lancy Burns, her son Mikus and his wife Cheri Burns, as well as five grandchildren; Bryan, Ryan, Samantha, Alyssa, and Braden. Additionally, Sarah’s sister Martha Bryan and her husband Earle of Union, SC, (fiance’ of Ryan) Emily Koerner and (boyfriend of Samantha) Christopher Barroso.

The family will receive relatives and friends on Tuesday, April 27, 2021 from 4 to 6pm at the Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals, 145 St Catherine Blvd. Toms River, NJ. A Funeral Service will be offered on Wednesday, April 28, 2021 at 10am at the funeral home. Entombment will follow to Ocean County Memorial Park, 1722 Silverton Rd., Toms River, NJ.
