Sebastian "Tony" Angelella

Sebastian “Tony” A. Angelella, 87, of Leisure Village West, Manchester, NJ passed away on Wednesday, November 1, 2023.

Born in Pittston, PA, and raised in Paterson, NJ, he raised his family in Ringwood, NJ and lived in Milltown, NJ, before moving to Manchester, NJ.

Tony was a Banker for many years, retiring from Bank of America, then Synergy Bank.

He served in the United States Army

Tony was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather, who was loved and respected by many for his kind heart, warm smile, and great sense of loyalty

He found joy in time with his family, and loved traveling with them around the world.  Tony enjoyed playing tennis, playing poker with his Leisure Village West friends, and was a diehard Yankees fan.

Tony was predeceased by his wife Maria (nee Fiorita) in 2022.

He is survived by his children Salvatore “Sam” Angelella and his wife Marci of Daytona Beach, FL, Maria T. Zelko of Manchester, NJ, and Gerard Angelella and his wife Maryann of Pompton Lakes, NJ, six grandchildren Rya Angelella, Anthony S. Angelella, Gina M. Saloukas and her husband Jon Michael, Mia L. Gould and her husband Matthew, Nicolette Angelella, Dominic Angelella, and three great grandchildren Jacob, Emma and Lana.

The family will receive relatives and friends on Tuesday, November 7, 2023 4:00pm – 8:00pm at the Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals, 145 St. Catherine Blvd Toms River, NJ. A  Mass of Christian Burial will be offered Wednesday, November 8, 2023 11:00am at St John’s RC Church, Lakehurst, NJ. Burial will follow at 1:30pm to the New Jersey Veterans Cemetery, Wrightstown, NJ.
