Shannon Day Gonella

Shannon Day Gonella passed away peacefully on May 15, 2025, surrounded by the love and comfort of her family. Born on July 10, 1952, Shannon lived a life rich in warmth, kindness, and quiet strength.

She is predeceased by her beloved husband, Louis Gonella, and her cherished daughters, Rosanna Applegate and Juniper Shelley and son Randy. Though her heart bore the weight of great loss, Shannon continued to be a pillar of love and resilience for those around her.

She is survived by her adored grandchildren from the Gonella, Applegate, and Cruz families, and Great Grand Children from the Gonella family and Kehlani of the Applegate family who carry forward her legacy of compassion, creativity, and unwavering love.

Shannon had a deep love for folk music, which brought her peace and joy throughout her life. We hope she is now reunited with Louis, Rosanna, and Juniper, listening to her favorite songs in harmony above.

Her gentle soul and enduring spirit will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
