Stanley M. Paradowski

Stanley Paradowski, of Berkeley Township, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 15, 2025. Born in Jersey City, New Jersey, he was predeceased by his beloved parents, Stanley and Clara Paradowski.

Stanley was a devoted husband, loving father, cherished grandfather, and proud great-grandfather. He shared 62 wonderful years of marriage with his wife and best friend, Patricia O’Connor Paradowski. Together, they created a life centered on love, family, and faith.

A man of great character and dedication, Stanley proudly served his community as a Captain in the Kearny Fire Department, committing over 26 years to a life of service and protection. He led with strength, humility, and heart — values he passed on to his children and grandchildren. He was a true role model, always offering encouragement, wisdom, and unconditional love.

To his family, he was “Pa” — the steady, kind-hearted center of their world. He will be remembered not only for his service and devotion but also for the way he made each person feel seen, valued, and loved. His legacy will live on in all those he inspired.

Stanley is survived by his devoted wife, Patricia; his loving daughters, Alison Ryan, Karen Robertson-Jurczak, and Laura Nolan and her husband Kenneth; his caring sisters, Linda Bazar, Rita Paradowski, and Claire Sauerwald; his adored grandchildren: Jeffrey, Katie, Ashley, Evan, Michael, Matthew, Madison, Kevin, Sarah, Ainsley, Quinn, Jack, Paige, and Claire; and his treasured great-grandchildren: Ramsey, Riley, Robin, Rex, Emmie, Addie, Cooper, Cayden, Colton, and Ella.

He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing and loving him.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects on Tuesday, May 20, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals, 145 St. Catherine Blvd., Toms River. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, May 21, 2025, at St. Maximilian Kolbe Roman Catholic Church, followed by entombment at Ocean County Memorial Park, Toms River.

On his days off from the fire department, Stanley would often volunteer to transport children to and from chemotherapy treatments — a quiet but profound reflection of his compassion.
