Susan (Kinnell) Armbruster

Susan Armbruster, 76 of Toms River,  passed  from this life peacefully on the night of January 6th 2025.  Susan was born in Cowdenbeath Fife, Scotland, later moving to America.  Susan later married Robert Armbruster and had three children, Suzanne, Brian and Eric.  Susan was a beautiful, strong, loving wife, mother, sister, aunt and most of all. Gammy as her grandchildren were her pride and joy.   She was known for her favorite saying, when you told her you loved her she would reply, “I LOVE YOU MORE”.   She will be truly missed by many of us.  She will be dearly missed by all her heart has touched.  Susan was a light in the world like no other.  Her kindness, love, and wholehearted happiness will be deeply missed.

Susan is predeceased by her parents, Terrence Kinnell; Catherine Canavan Kinnel; Son, Brian Armbruster; Sisters, Kathleen Markie; Theresa Kwinsinski and Brother, George Kinnell.

Susan is survived by her Husband Robert Armbruster; Sister, Helen Massaro; Son, Eric Armbruster; Daughter, Suzanne Zalinski and her husband Paul; Grandson, David Kindred, Granddaughters, Megan Armbruster; Emily Kindred; Great grandson, Deekin Kindred; Nova Rowe. 

The family will receive friends and relatives on Tuesday, January 14, 2025 from 4pm to 8pm at Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals, 145 St. Catherine Blvd. Toms River.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10am, Wednesday, January 15, 2025 at St. Joseph RC Church, Toms River with Burial to follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, Toms River.
