Susan DeBrango, 92, of Toms River, NJ, passed away on Tuesday, April 27, 2021. Born in Jersey City, NJ, she was a long-time resident before moving to Toms River in 1984. She was a Seamstress, working for various employers throughout Jersey City, she was also a parishioner of Holy Rosary RC Church. Susan became a parishioner of both St Joseph RC Church and St Maximilian Kolbe RC Church upon moving to Toms River, where she was also active in the Holy Rosary Society and served as a Eucharistic Minister. She is preceded in death by her husband Dominick, her parents Piacentino and Pasqualina Astolfi, as well as her brothers; Robert Astolfi, Peter Astolfi, and Stephen Astolfi. Susan is survived by her loving family, son Thomas and his wife Maria DeBrango of Weehawken, NJ, daughter Mary Miceli of Hazlet, NJ, sister Mary Tierney of PA, and four grandchildren; Joseph Miceli, Nicole DeBrango, Christopher Miceli, and Christina DeBrango. The family will receive relatives and friends on Thursday, April 29, 2021 from 3 to 7pm at the Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals, 145 St Catherine Blvd, Toms River, NJ. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, April 30, 2021 at St Maximilian Kolbe RC Church, Toms River, NJ. Interment will follow to St Joseph Cemetery, 56 Cedar Grove Rd, Toms River.
