Susan T. (Szafranowski) Oglesby

Susan T. Oglesby, 74, of Toms River, NJ, passed away Thursday, June 18, 2026 peacefully at home.

Born in Lakehurst, NJ, she lived in Beachwood, NJ before moving to Toms River, NJ 45 years ago. She attended Toms River High School and St. Joseph Grade School. An avid bird watcher, she was a life-long supporter of wildlife, particularly Popcorn Park Animal Rescue in Lacey Township.

Susan was Office Manager of Bayshore Electric in Beachwood, NJ for many years. She was at the heart of the Bayshore Electric community, valued by colleagues, customers, and vendors alike.

She was predeceased by her parents Casimir and Frances Szafranowski and her long-time companion Joseph Addotta.

Susan is survived by her sister Jeanne Szafranowski of Manchester Twp., NJ, her brother Stephen Szafranowski and his wife Florence of Beachwood, NJ, her closest friends and dedicated helpers Tina and Ronald Aponte of Beachwood, NJ. She was a cherished, favorite aunt survived by four nieces, seven great nieces and nephews, and four great, great nephews.

Services are private and under the direction of the Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals, 995 Fischer Blvd., Toms River.
