Susan Parziale, 71, of Berkeley Township, formerly of Belleville, NJ, passed from this life on Sunday, July 19, 2020. Born October 10, 1948 in Newark to the late Toby and Geraldine D’Ambola, Susan spent most of her life in Belleville. After graduating from Belleville High School, she attended Newark State and Fairleigh Dickinson University working towards a degree in education. She married the love of her life, Louis Parziale, on her birthday in 1971. She was a clothing buyer for JNC department store in Nutley from the time she was in high school until 1985. Susan and Lou moved from their home in Fairfield to Little Egg Harbor Township in 2005 and ultimately settled in Toms River.
At the time of her death, Susan was employed as the payroll manager for the Borough of Surf City.
Susan is described by all she knew as a selfless person who always put others before her and would lend a helping hand to anyone. She was a loving wife and devoted mother and grandmother and a true friend. She will be greatly missed.
Susan is predeceased by her parents and her brother, Joseph D’Ambola.
Susan is survived by her dear husband and best friend, Louis Parziale; her doting son Anthony Parziale and his wife Brenn Swanson of Brick; and two cherished grandsons, Enzo and Cruz, whom she completely adored. She is also survived by a brother, Toby D’Ambola and his wife Judy of Clark.
The family will receive friends and relatives on Friday, July 24, 2020 from 8:30am to 11:30am at Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals, 145 St. Catherine Blvd., Toms River. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12:00pm, Friday, July 24, 2020 at St. Maximilian Kolbe RC Church with entombment to follow at Christ the King Mausoleum.
