Suzan (DiMartini) Nappi

Suzan Ann Nappi, 68, of Toms River, New Jersey, passed away peacefully in her home on Tuesday, April 19th, 2022 surrounded by her devoted husband, Anthony and daughter Rachel. 
 

Born and raised in the Bronx, NY, Sue moved to Closter, New Jersey with her husband of 48 years, Anthony and her two daughters, Carla and Rachel, where she worked in the local school district, before relocating to Toms River, NJ.  Suzan enjoyed gardening and had a natural green thumb.  She also loved music and found happiness in teaching her nieces and nephews all about the “cool” bands.  Sue had a way of brightening everyone’s day with her infectious smile and personality.  Family was everything to Sue and her favorite role she ever had was that of Nana.  Her grandchildren, Sean and Emma, were the apples of her eye and brought her endless joy. 

Suzan is predeceased by her parents, Robert and Ann DiMartini. 

She is survived by her devoted husband Anthony Nappi, who she lovingly referred to as her “soldier boy”; her two daughters Dr. Carla Suzan Nappi and Rachel Singh; her son-in-law Shiv Singh; her grandchildren Sean and Emma Singh and her siblings Dominic DiMartini and Gloria MacParland. She also has countless nieces, nephews and grand nieces and nephews who all held a special place in her heart.  

Family will receive friends on Saturday April 23, 2022 from 12pm to 4pm with a 3:30pm Service at the Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals 145 St. Catherine Blvd. Toms River, NJ. Committal will be private. Condolences may be sent by visiting www.ryanfuneralhome.com.
