Thaddeus Prusik

Thaddeus Prusik, PhD, 73, of Stroudsburg, PA and Toms River, NJ, passed away Friday, August 2, 2024.

Born in Brooklyn, NY, he lived in Roosevelt, NJ before moving to Stroudsburg in 1991.

Thaddeus received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemistry from Bucknell University, Lewisburg, PA and his Master’s Degree and PhD from New York University, New York City.

Thaddeus was a Chemist and co-founder of Temptime/Zebra in Morris Plains, NJ where he served as Senior Vice President until his retirement in 2023.

He was predeceased by his parents Theodore and Mary Prusik and his sister Antoinette Pranzo.

Thaddeus is survived by his wife of 51 years, Anne (Kolanek), his three children Jonathan Prusik of Brooklyn, NY, Julia Blades and her husband Robert of Stroudsburg, PA, Adam Prusik and his wife Merritt of Delmar, NY, a sister Diane Godek of Holtsville, NY and four grandchildren Walker Prusik, Parker Prusik, Kallyn Blades and Maci Blades.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Family is asking to please make donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in memory of Thaddeus.
