Thomas E. Piret

Thomas E. Piret, 78 of Ocean Beach III passed from this life peacefully at his home on Sunday, March 23, 2025. Thomas was born July 20, 1946, in Passaic, NJ to the late John and Violet Piret. He lived in Wood-Ridge, NJ before moving to Ocean Beach III. Tom owned and operated Kelly Limousine in Wood-Ridge before he retired. Earlier in his career, he worked as a Purchasing Manager for American Cyanamid. He also worked part-time in his retirement as a Security Patrol Officer in OBIII.

Tom was a loving husband, devoted father, and grandfather. He enjoyed taking walks with his wife June and their nights playing bingo at the Crab's Claw Inn. He was always by the side of his best boy Jeter, his English Bulldog who passed a few years ago. He loved hanging out with his family, friends, and neighbors, working on his puzzles, or enjoying an "Ocean Beach Cocktail." He was an avid bowler who enjoyed his many bowling leagues. You could often find him on the beach collecting rocks for his driveway or metal detecting.

Tom was predeceased by his brother, John Piret. Surviving are his loving wife June of 55 years, son Brian Piret and his wife Carey of Wood Ridge, NJ, daughter Kelly Piret of East Rutherford, NJ, and son Tommy Piret and his wife Kathy of Wood-Ridge, NJ, along with his two beloved grandchildren, Julie Piret and Vincent Rege.

The family will receive friends and relatives on Saturday, March 29, 2025, from 1pm to 5pm at Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals, 706 Highway 35 North, Lavallette. All Committal Services will be held privately.
