Thomas Sheridan

Thomas Joseph Sheridan was born on May 10, 1971 to parents Margaret (nee Conway) and Thomas John Sheridan at Clara Maass Hospital in Belleville, NJ. Thomas lived with his parents on Ernst Avenue in Bloomfield from 1971 until 2019. Thomas was a graduate of the Bloomfield school system where he learned to become a lifelong reader and writer. Thomas also loved his cats over the years in Bloomfield: Meow, Rusty, & Beau.

In fall 2019, he moved to live in an assisted living apartment in Forked River managed by the ARC of Ocean County. He enjoyed making many new friends and went on numerous trips with his ARC friends including a Los Angeles vacation in 2022. He also became a regular artist at his day program proudly sharing his paintings and collages with his family.

Thomas was known for his quick wit & good sense of humor. Always the joker, he loved being the life of the party. Thomas loved the Yankees & KC Chiefs. He loved a good mega cheeseburger. He was a huge music lover being a lifelong fan of Joan Jett, Twisted Sister, Carrie Underwood, and George Thorogood owning all their albums. He frequently attended WWE wrestling events including WrestleMania at MetLife Stadium. He was also a big Seton Hall University basketball fan attending home games with his father, an SHU alumnus.

Thomas was a special and unique light in our family. He always made an impression and made life a lot of fun. He will be dearly missed by his entire family and all his friends.
