Wilean “Lee” Faith Ciaccio

Wilean “Lee” Ciaccio, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully at home on July 31, 2024, at the age of 91.
Born on October 1, 1932, Lee lived a life full of love, dedication, and family. She married her loving husband, Salvatore “Sal” Ciaccio, on May 23, 1953. Together, they shared over 70 years of marriage, creating a family and cherished memories. Lee and Sal were blessed with five children-Joseph Ciaccio (deceased), Gregory Ciaccio (Ro Ciaccio), Cynthia Ciaccio Soto (Albert Soto), Lisa Harrison (Rich Harrison), & David Ciaccio, six grandchildren;DonnaMarie Homme and her husband Jason, Danielle Ciaccio, Dana Ciaccio, and her husband Emory Lund, Deanna Stache and her husband Cameron, Kyle Petty and his wife Danielle and Caitlin Ciaccio-Soto, her seven great grandchildren; Justin Ciaccio, Haley Homme, Kyle David Kashella-Petty, Natalie Homme, Connor, Ryan and Adalynn Petty.
Lee dedicated over 50 years of her life as a volunteer- 15 of which she served as head delegate of Area 6 with the Special Olympics. her commitment and devotion left a lasting impact on many lives.
In addition to her volunteer work, Lee was an avid reader who enjoyed solving crossword puzzles and treasured the holidays spent with her family. Her humor, wisdom and love for family will be dearly missed by all who knew her. She leaves behind a legacy of love that will continue to serve as inspiration.
Services to honor and celebrate Lee’s life will be held at Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals 145 St. Catherine Blvd., Toms River NJ on Saturday August 3, 2024 between the hours of 2-6pm. A Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday August 6,2024 at 11:30am at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, Toms River, NJ. Entombment will follow to St. Joseph Cemetery, Toms River, NJ
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the St Joseph Roman Catholic Church Food Pantry or St Jude’s Children’s Hospital in Lee's memory.
