William O’Keefe, 71, of Toms River passed away on Saturday, October 31, 2020 in the comfort of his own home surrounded by those who love him most.
Above all else, family was paramount to Bill. He loved and respected his wife of 36 years, Jackie, and his children, Molly, Maggie, and John. To him ,they were his greatest accomplishment. His grandsons, Madden and Mackenzie, brought so much light into his life. Also left behind are his siblings, John, Tom, Annette, and many nieces and nephews who adored him.
Bill took great pride in his career as a business agent for Teamsters Local 469 and always did everything within his power for his members without hesitation.
He was a man who exemplified moral integrity and was well respected within his communities. His love for knowledge and reading made him a great resource for sound advice and guidance. He was thoughtful, compassionate, and cared about the things that truly mattered. He is someone his family is so proud to call their own. He will be missed immensely.
There will be a memorial gathering to honor and celebrate Bill’s life on Saturday, November 7 from 12:00-2:00 at The Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals at 145 St. Catherine Blvd. Toms River, NJ 08755. Condolences may be sent by visiting www.ryanfuneralhome.com
