Wray L. Burritt, Sr., 80, of Toms River, NJ, passed away Monday, October 12, 2020 at Community Medical Center, Toms River.
Born in Newark, NJ, he lived in Lyndhurst, NJ before moving to Toms River in 1970.
Wray was a US Air Force Vietnam War veteran.
He worked a Machinist for many years, retiring from M-M Tech in Eatontown, NJ.
Wray was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Brick, NJ, the Disabled American Veterans Chapter 24, Toms River, and the Gilford Park Yacht Club, Toms River.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Evelyn (nee Purfuerst); his two sons Wray L. Burritt, Jr. and his wife Jenni of Toms River and Patrick Burritt of Toms River, his sister Barbara Cunningham of Richmond, VA, five grandchildren Wray III, Zakary, Shawn, Marleigh, and Liam and his daughter in law Eve.
Burial will be private.
A Celebration of Life will be offered and announced at a later date.
